We have been receiving a lot of complaints about the bushes and shrubs being overgrown. As a reminder, per the landscaping contract, pruning is done in June and September. This year the bushes are especially overgrown because of the amount of rain we received this summer.
Pruning started yesterday and will continue through the week.

R&D Tree Service will be on site this week, starting tomorrow, to trim the trees off all of the buildings and to clean up several others on the property.
Between 8308 & 8201 three trees are being completely removed.
Trimming will start at the entrance of the property and continue on the right side. This will likely take a few days.
As a reminder, trees and other vegetation cannot be against the new siding so all trees are being trimmed if they are close to the siding. There is not an option for anyone to opt out of trimming.
Please treat the workers with respect and allow them to do their job.

This is a reminder that dogs are not permitted inside the playground on Miller Road. The same goes for the multi sport court and the beach.
Please walk your dogs in designated dog areas and keep them leashed at all times. If you want to play with your dog off a leash there are local dog parks which permit this.

The lawns are scheduled to be fertilized on Monday, August 3rd.
Treated areas will be marked with yellow flags indicating to stay off for 24 hours. This includes pets.

Good morning Chelsea Cove.
West Beekman Water just advised the boil water advisory has been lifted. It is safe to resume normal use of your water. Attached is a notice with more details.

As you know already, a boil water advisory was put out as a result of the water repair on Friday. We have been receiving a lot of questions about when it is safe to use the water again.
While we do not have any official information about it, we know from experience that these advisories take several business days to resolve. Once a boil water notice is put in place the Department of Health requires a series of water tests to read negative for bacteria and microbes before the water can be safely used again.
Being that this occurred on Friday evening, we expect these tests to take 1-3 days this week before the advisory will be lifted.
We understand boiling your water is very frustrating but protocol must be followed to lift the boil water advisory. As soon as the Department of Health clears the water for use, the notice will be lifted and everyone will receive an email from West Beekman Water.

Good afternoon Chelsea Cove HOA.
We just wanted to clarify, the work being done on the water line is not part of any property we manage. However, being that we manage CCHOA we are able to reach out to all residents of Chelsea Cove with updated information.
The work being done is on Chelsea Cove Condo I’s property. We do not have details about the work being done. We are just forwarding updates from West Beekman Water as they come in. The only information we have is a water main was hit while a sewer line was being repaired.
West Beekman Water expects the water to be back on today, it’s just a difficult repair. They’re doing the best they can right now. Unfortunately, they do not have a time frame that the repair will be completed.
As we receive updates we will send them out to everyone. We hope everyone has a great weekend.

Security has been hired by Chelsea Cove HOA to enforce community policies and to hopefully prevent any issues this summer. You may see men in security uniforms or in marked vehicles, especially this weekend.
Parents, please make sure your children are not playing with any type of fireworks on the property this weekend.
In observation of the holiday, our office will be closed tomorrow. We will re-open on Monday, July 6th.
